Texas Chapter
The Texas Chapter is the newest addition to the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces family having formally launched in May, 2012. Due to the enormous support for the young men and women who serve in the IDF from both the Jewish and Christian communities throughout the Lone Star State, the decision was made for the organization to expand with a regional presence to the south.
Based in Houston, the goal of the chapter will be to reach supporters and host events in communities throughout the state. Long-term goals of the FIDF Texas Chapter will include bringing in Israeli military leaders and Lone Soldiers for community briefings and meet & greets, showcasing the IDF Musical Ensemble at special concerts and host other events and speakers that provide access to those who serve as defenders of Eretz Yisrael.
Throughout Texas, there is a fabulous group of both emerging and established community leaders who are passionate about the work that FIDF undertakes. They have played and will continue to play a key role in our important work moving forward.
