FIDF National Chairman Visits Planned Wellbeing Facilities in Negev

posted: 7/25/12

FIDF National Chairman, Nily Falic, recently visited the Negev desert where she was shown plans for the IDF’s Training Campus, which will consolidate eight of the IDF’s training bases and in which FIDF will sponsor every wellbeing facility. Placing training bases next to one another will enable fluidity between different types of training. Located in the Negev desert, these projects will also enable Israel to cultivate this region and bring a national dream into fruition.

FIDF is embarking on a $45 million, mass construction project of 11 facilities called the Negev Education and Wellbeing Centers, which will significantly improve the wellbeing of soldiers and commanders on the campus. By investing in the IDF’s biggest contemporary construction project and one of Israel’s biggest projects to date, FIDF will not only be continuing its tradition of caring for the wellbeing of Israel’s soldiers, it will be investing in Israel’s future.
