Soldiers Homes
Aspiring to create a nurturing environment and a second home away from home, FIDF’s Soldier’s Homes provide an answer to thousands of soldiers every year, when they are in need of accommodation. Whether it is a lone soldier who lives in the facility permanently when he is away from his base, or a soldier traveling in Israel or serving on a base with no accommodation solution, these welcoming houses provide soldiers with warmth and all the services they need in order to feel at home.
Negev Educational and Wellbeing Centers
The Negev Educational and Wellbeing Centers is FIDF’s project sponsoring 11 wellbeing facilities on the IDF’s new Training Campus. The Training Campus is set to be built in the Negev desert and will be an all-encompassing center for eight of the IDF’s training bases, currently spread out throughout the country. Placing these IDF facilities next to one another will allow for fluidity between different types of training. Read More
The Elias & Lila Kalimian Ramat Gan Home for Lone Soldiers
The Elias & Lila Kalimian Ramat Gan Home for Lone Soldiers will provide Lone Soldiers a place to call home. The project is situated in Ramat Gan next to the paratroopers building on the Yarkon Public Park (a green haven in the middle of the city). The Lone Soldiers Home has a beautiful spacious garden and it is in a central location near many bus stops, with all the urban amenities within walking distance. Read More
Saban Soldier’s Home in Jerusalem
The Saban Soldier’s Home will be built on the compound of an existing facility built 40 years ago and no longer providing solutions for the IDF’s growing needs.
