Arizona Chapter

The FIDF Arizona Chapter was officially opened in January 2012.
For over 25 years, hundreds of FIDF supporters from the Arizona community have been contributing to the wellbeing of IDF soldiers through FIDF programs and projects.

Recently, hundreds of Arizona residents demonstrated their great love and support for the State of Israel and its soldiers through community activities which were headed by devoted FIDF supporters. As a result of these successful events, which showed the dedicated and growing support in Arizona, the FIDF Arizona Chapter was established to further work together with the Arizona community and create more opportunities for the brave men and women serving in the IDF.

In May 2011, a strong supporter of FIDF, Jay Bycer, headed the first official FIDF event, Standing Strong with the Soldiers of the IDF, which was attended by over 200 people, at the JCC of Scottsdale.

In December 2011, Laurie Schwartz and Jay Bycer, two dedicated FIDF supporters, collaborated to host an amazing community event featuring the IDF Musical Ensemble at Congregation Beth Israel. With over 500 people in attendance, this concert ended up being one of the largest IDF Ensemble events in FIDF history!
