Over $500,000 raised at the 12th Annual FIDF YL-NY Gala - A Success for Israel's Soldiers!

YL_Gala_2014

On Saturday, December 6th, over 1,550 guests joined in celebration at the 12th Annual FIDF NY-YL Gala raising over $500,000 for the IDF Iron Trails Brigade. This year’s carnival themed lived up to the hype, featuring gourmet food, live music, casino and carnival games and offered over $50,00 in luxury raffle prizes.  The largest Young Leadership event of the year, the night was a fantastic celebration of all that NYC’s young professionals do to support Israel’s soldiers.
Specifically, funds raised will support the brave men and women of the Iron Trails Brigade. The Adopt a Brigade Program allows supporters to go beyond their donation and become one with the soldiers they are supporting.  Adopt a Brigade focuses on providing financial aid for soldiers and their families, supporting Lone Soldiers, general wellbeing activities, and scholarships. Subordinate to Israel’s Southern Command and part of the Armored Corps, the Iron Trails Brigade tank units courageously lead ground forces into battle and are crucial to the IDF’s effort to protect Israel.
